Book a seat at the table in our off-grid woodland restaurant for a unique tasting menu experience. Our team will take you on a journey into the wild as we introduce the foraged ingredients, carefully selected wines, our signature wild cocktails and share the story of how each dish on the menu came to life. Our menu includes 5 - 7 tasting dishes and canapés, with wine pairing.
The food is prepared in front of our guests in our open fire kitchen using sustainably harvested wood and charcoal sourced from the local area. Choose between our standard omnivore menu or an alternative vegetarian menu. All events take place at our private site just outside Godalming, Surrey which includes free onsite parking and toilets. In the event of wet weather the dining area and tables are placed under cover. We offer a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to accompany your meal.
Due to the unique format and open-air nature of these events sadly we are unable to cater for those with specific dietary requirements or food allergies. HYPER-SEASONAL tasting DISHES
We do not share a set menu before you arrive. The availability of our ingredients varies from day to day, according to the changing seasons, the weather and what we come across when we’re out foraging. Our dishes focus on native wild plants, fungi, seafood, fish and game alongside locally sourced produce.
TRADITIONAL wood-fired COOKING
We embrace traditional, open fire cooking techniques which add a unique complexity of flavour and texture to our dishes. Our guests enjoy an intimate, ringside experience as they watch us prepare courses in our wood fired oven, hot smoker and directly over the hot coals and flames of our custom-built grill setup.
FORAGING, FISHING & HUNTING
Wild animals feed on a natural and varied diet which gives their meat a unique depth of flavour. They provide an ethical source of protein which is 100% organic and free of pesticides and hormones. Most of the meat we use in our kitchen is harvested as a by-product of essential conservation work and crop protection.
WILD COCKTAILS & LOCAL WINES
We pair each of the courses with wine, wild cocktails and other infusions designed to compliment the flavours of the food. Our seasonal cocktails are made using spirits and liqueurs which we infuse with native herbs, spices and berries. We use locally produced wines from vineyards in Surrey and around the UK.
